  1. Hi

Indeed these are very powerful verses that uplift one spiritually. This Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Is the one I go to when there are a lot of things that happen to me, or around me that I do not  understand. Because then I gives me an answer. Leave it to God, you will not understand.

Psalm 121: 1-2 is part of our liturgy at our church. Who ever preaches start with these verse before the sermon. They indeed lift us spiritually

Thank you for other verses as well

    • Absolutely… so many times I ask God “What’s going on here?  I don’t understand.”  Well, that’s exactly the point.  We don’t need to understand because God has a plan for all of us, even if it doesn’t make sense at the time!

  2. This is wonderful to see, as we are living in very difficult times right now. If there’s ever been a point where we could all use some encouragement, this is it. I honestly feel that if people still read the Bible on occasion, there would be far less evil and misery in the world. Even for those who don’t necessarily believe the historical accuracy within its pages, just the fact that it offers so many reminders on how to conduct ourselves under difficult circumstances and how to treat our fellow man.

    • I hear you 100%.  There is so much truth about human nature in the Bible, and we tend to forget history so quickly.  Opening the Bible and just reading a bit, addresses so many of the things that we see going wrong in the world today.
